Create workflow

You may use the same printer for different applications.
In that case, create multiple workflows to suit each application.

Workflow Preset
Use a preset to simplify the setup with default settings.

Afterwards all settings can be optimized via the Expert page.
DFE
DFE or RIP. This is the computer which drives your printer.
Choose from the list or choose other if yours is not mentioned.
Printer
This is the model of your printing machine.
Choose from list or choose other if your machine is not listed.
Curve
You must select an "Application Curve".
Graphic Art provides the best reproduction for commercial printing.
Photo provides the best reproduction for RGB workflows such as photobooks.

Levels 1 - 10 are presets based on Default and provide increasing toner/ink savings, with level 10 providing the maximum saving.

These settings can be changed later if required.

For first-time users, we recommend selecting Graphic Art or Photo depending on the application.

Mandatory downloads
Click Download all.

A collection of setup files will be downloaded to your Downloads folder.

The files provided depend on the choices you made in the wizard.
The minimum set includes:
ColorPort installation package (Mac or PC).
Print Kit (contains print targets and instructions for setting up ColorPort), based on the spectrophotometer selected in the workflow section.
DFE setup manuals - instructions for configuring your DFE/RIP(s).
